WELCOME to the Granite City Association for the Protection of Animals

We are a non profit "no kill" animal shelter, located in the woods in a

secluded part of Granite City, Illinois, just across the river from St.

Louis, Missouri.  No animal you ever see at the shelter will be

"put to sleep" to make room for another. We are one of the few

in the Metro St. Louis area with this philosophy.  We work very,

very hard to get our critters adopted so that we can save another

animal.

Here you can view all of our animals available for adoption, find out how to become a volunteer, donate to the shelter, or get information on becoming a member of our organization.  You can also choose to meet the residents of the shelter on sight or at one of our mobile adoptions.
