Tucker came to
our shelter for what we thought would be a short stay
(purebred Dalmatians usually find a homes quickly). He was
adopted to a loving family and everything seemed normal...
He developed
what initially looked like a routine ear infection. After a
trip to the veterinary clinic, they found a dangerous tumor
in his ear canal requiring immediate surgery for removal.
His new family
could not afford the medical expenses so he was brought back
to our shelter. Since Tucker was once a resident of the
Granite City APA family, he will always be part of our
family and we will do everything we can to ensure his
health, comfort and well being.
We had to
borrow money from our general operating fund (what we
usually use for food, water and electric bills) to take care
of Tucker. We are going to be scraping bottom until we can
get donations to help pay back what we borrowed.
Tucker made it
through his surgery and is resting peacefully back at the
Shelter. He lost some, but not all of his hearing. Tucker,
your worth it...
Please
consider Donating to our Tucker fund below.
PS - He also needs
a place to call home!!! Visitors and cards also welcome :)
